Sandy Hollow, Croyde

4-5ft on sets with a moderate, sometimes gusting fresh Easterly offshore wind. Great shaped surf as it drops back towards low tide. Surfs looking a little more tempered than over the last few days, but the cold Easterly wind has more than compensated for the drop in the overall size of the surf. It's cold!!

Solid 6ft and a little more on sets. South South Easterly cross offshore winds. Some big, reasonably clean peaks coming through in the middle of the bay, although not as big as Friday, but big enough to ensure that, at the moment, there hasn't been any takers

Consistent 6ft+ surf with a moderate-fresh Southerly cross shore wind. When the sets come through and when accentuated by the Southerly cross shores, it looks quite chunky. So far, not many, if any takers today. 

2ft maybe the odd 3ft sets every now and again. South South East cross shore wind, but with quite a lot of East early on, but as time progressed towards low tide the wind switched to a more Southerly direction. Started out with an array of clean small peaks, but the wind slowly crept towards more Southerly direction, however there were still lots of surfable, reasonably clean sections on offer around low tide

4ft surf with a moderate South Easterly offshore wind. Clean peaky swell on the dropping tide, winds still causing a bit of concern, but has moderated a little from yesterday, not so strong, or, so bitterly cold.
