6-8ft surf with a fresh-strong West South Westerly onshore wind. 6-8ft's a rash estimate, it's big messy and onshore, not worth the blink of an eye...Even the 'boys' (lifeguards) are sitting this one out, with the red flag flying all day

4-5ft surf with a strong-gale force South Westerly onsore wind. The wind's so strong it's pushing the swell flat, but at this strength, we should be in for some fun and games size wise, on the pushing tide. Possibly a day to take a bit more care and seek a little shelter somewhere else.

4ft surf with a light South almost South Easterly cross offshore wind. Solid 4ft sets coming through on the low tide. Little too much cross shore making it difficult to pick the open shoulders. The wind's forecast to swing more towards an Easterly direction as the afternoon progresses and together with a little more size on the pushing tide, should, hopefully make for an interesting afternoon

2-3ft surf with a moderate South Westerly onshore wind. Surfable on a shortboard, a little messy, but if and when the sun comes out, there's a little bit of warmth...Sun and warmth, that always makes it look more inviting!

All is not lost! There is a little bit of surf beginning to show on the pushing tide. Could be "knee high to a grasshopper" by high tide. Looking at a longboardable wave by high.
