Sandy Hollow, Croyde

0-1ft almost flat, with a moderate North Westerly onshore wind...not looking too good surf wise for the next few days!

2ft surf with little or no wind. Great shaped small, very clean, fun surf. Every now and again a waist high+ wave threads its way into the bay, but they are very few and far between. Even though the beach is maxed out, this little baby slipped through undetected.

3ft surf with a very light generally Southerly wind. Small peaky good fun looking surf for this Bank Holiday Saturday.Reasonably clean good shaped consistent 3ft sets coming through on low tide. If the wind holds, looks like we'll be in for a promising afternoon of enjoyable surf

3ft surf with a moderate South Westerly onshore wind. Southery cross offshore winds first thing this morning, but as the day and sun's become more established the winds turned more SW onshore. A little choppy and messy, but still with the odd occasional peaky and wally sections. Surfable 

4ft surf with a moderate-fresh Westerly onshore wind. Another messy onshore day, the wind's just turned more Westerly and is now blowing right behind the swell. A choppy scenario for Croyde in this wind direction, but hopefully, it'll deliver a little more punch to the swell and maybe we'll see a smaller wave, with a little more shelter around the corner
