Sandy Hollow, Croyde

2-3ft early morning Croyde. A sight for sore eyes and although conditions were forecast and set good for most of the day, there was a lot of South in the wind well before it got to low tide. So...those that caught it early, really did have the best of it today

4ft surf with a light-moderate Westerly onshore wind. Over the low tide period the swell and also the wind's increased a little, but there's still some good shaped fun punchy waves coming through. Not the cleanest on the peaks, but as the swells hit and break off the banks, the end sections are drawing reasonably clean faces on the inside

4-5ft surf with a light-moderate Westerly onshore wind. Throughout the morning, up untill low tide the wind has been quite light, but it is gradually increasing as it veers from an early NW to a more Westerly direction. It's still quite peaky, reasonable size and with clean faces on the inside 

1-2ft surf with a light South Easterly offshore wind. Clean small lines entering the bay this morning. A little fluffy and inconsistent, but surfable on the sets when they come. Fun surf if you're in the right frame of mind, short boardable, definitely long boardable, looks like it won't last for long though before the wind's on it.

Still only 1ft surf, but with a light North Westerly onshore wind. Beautiful morning, and although it's a little smaller than yesterday, for some, it all seems worthwhile
