Sandy Hollow, Croyde

1ft+ surf with a moderate-fresh South Easterly offshore wind. Just surfable on sets, but they are a long time coming. Small even lines, great for the surf schools and for learning to surf.

3-4ft surf with a very light and variable wind. Still a bit of swell around, especially on sets. Reasonably clean, a very small amount of wind early morning wobble, but the wave faces are quite glassy. However there's still lots of fun waves coming through, even though the surf's a little smaller.

4-5ft surf with a light South Easterly offshore wind. Long wally peaks coming through, good shaped fun waves. Just coming over the mid tide and down onto the low tide banks. Everything looks set for a great days surfing.

3ft surf with a light South Easterly offshore wind. Good shaped very clean, wally peaks coming through. Not quite down on the low tide banks yet, but there's plenty of shape to satisfy the soul. Coupled with a crisp sunny morning, it's a sight for sore eyes after so long. Not too big, not too small, just a nice place to be. 

3-4ft consistent surf with a light westerly onshore wind. Reasonably clean with a little bit of shape and quite peaky on sets first thing this morning. Well worth a surf if you were lucky enough to be around. However, the onshore wind will increase as the morning progresses, but the swell should also increase a little on this mornings incoming tide. A bit of plus and a minus, but there is some decent surfable swell around, hopefully the wind'll hold off.
