Croyde Surf Report
November 12, 2015
6ft surf with a fresh-strong South Westerly onshore wind. Although things are a little calmer today (quiet before the storm) there still remains quite a lot of swell about. Croyde's choppy and messy, but it's a little more sheltered around the corner.

Still big, with lots of SW onshore wind, but a little respite as the swell size drops a little over the next 18-24hrs. Croyde's still out of control, although many have taken the choice of travelling a little further afield to get a surf. Beyond the chaos of the initial beachbreak, at a higher tide, it's nice to walk beyond the beach to observe and count in the swell period

Solid big surf, difficult to size, possibly around the 8ft+ range. Strong gusty SW onshore winds, resuling in very unsettled wild and stormy conditions. Blown out on most of the local beaches and although Puts will offer a little more shelter it wont be without a lot of "duckin an divin"

3-4ft surf. A reasonable bit of swell threading its way beneath the shorud of a strong gusty Southerly cross shore wind. Although there's a considerable amount of cross chop across the lines of swell, not all of the shape and definition has been lost to the increasing strength and direction of the wind....worth a look around the corner!

6ft+ With a fresh-strong gusty South Westerly onshore wind. Quite a chunky old swell filling out the bay as it pushes up through mid tide. Large blown out surf, with most, if not all seeking a little more shelter around the corner

2ft+ surf with a moderate South South Westerly cross onshore wind. Small disorganised and choppy surf. Not a lot to show at the moment, consdering all the weather that's out there in the Atlantic Ocean, should see a little more surf once we get a decent pulse of swell, or swell form a more westerly direction
