Croyde Surf Report
November 20, 2015
5ft surf with quite a Strong North Westerly onshore wind. Very windy, quite choppy disorganised waves. Although the swells a lot smaller than previous days, the surf's a little blown out. It'll be difficult to find any shelter from the wind, or to find a cleaner wave, as all local beaches will be effected by the strength and direction of this wind

6ft+ surf with light onshore Westerly winds. A lot calmer today less wind and a little less swell. However, there's still some big sets coming through, underlining the need to look elsewhere for a surf. Great to see more settled conditions, all be it for a short while, but size wise, on sets, Croydes still a little on the large side

Another day of strong winds and totally blown out surf. At the moment winds are blowing from an onshore SW direction and gusting up to severe gale force 9. Lots of spindthrift and foam on the shoreline and around the rocks, conditions are the same on all local beaches, which are effected by the strength and direction of this wind. Probably a good day to ignore a surf and pursue other passions

November 17, 2015
Very windy, with winds in excess of 30mph and expected to increase throughout the afternoon. Croyde's unsurfable because of it's exposure to the ever increasing wind. Possibly 6ft at the moment, on the mid tide drop, will see an increase in size, but things wont really kick in until mid afternoon, around low, as the weather deteriorates even more towards the evening

Another day of big surf with strong, gusting up to gale force SW onshore winds. Croyde, at the moment, looks uninviting, big chunky folds of white water breaking way out to sea. Inshore...there's a lot of water moving around, lots of wave/sea surges and flash rips due to the size and the totally disorganised nature of the prevailing surf conditions. These conditions look set for the rest of the week.

6-8ft surf with a strong, gusting up to gale force South Westerly onshore wind. Another blown out day. There was a little more South in the wind up until around mid day, but it's now well and truely onshore, with no sign of any settled conditions in the near future. A little more shelter around the corner.
