Croyde Surf Report
September 28, 2017
Autumn days, a little bit of sunshine goes a long way. 3ft surf with a light-moderate South South Easterly cross shore wind. Reasonably clean surfable waves made all the more attractive by the light cast by the early morning sun.

Solid 5-6ft sets mid tide pushing up through to high. East South East brisk offshore wind requiring a firm paddle in to get off peak and down the faces, but long cleaner walls on the inside. Well worth a surf.

2-3ft surf with a very light offshore winds. Settled down from the weekend, surfs a lot smaller. Some reasonably shaped fun waves that'll be around all day if the weather remains the same as forecast

8ft+ surf with a light SE offshore wind for most of the day. An all or nothing swell, resulting in those who undertook to surf any of the beaches today, probably having to endure epic paddle sessions for the jewels that were on offer. In hindsight, with the size and the amount of swell around, possibly a day for reefs and points.

4ft surf with a light WSW onshore breeze. Not too much wind, but who's to say it won't come up on the pushing tide. Still a little bit of shape and worth a surf for as long as the wind holds.

3ft+ fun surf with a moderate-fresh SSE offshore wind. Little bit of side chop on the outside peaks with the inside walls drawing a cleaner face. Consistent swell, although dropping off in size as the wind also drops throughout the remainder of the day
