Croyde Surf Report
June 06, 2015
4ft surf with a moderate-fresh dead Westerly onshore wind. Quite choppy and messy, with a stiff onshore breeze, safe to say it's blown out. At the moment enough swell for a surf, not too big, not too small, but with with this strength of wind it will get a little bigger and more unmanageable on the push from low.

1-2ft surf with a light-moderate Westerly onshore wind. A complete contrast to yesterday. Small, onshore, short period swell, at the moment, on the dropping tide, there's very little to work with or inspire one to go for a surf.

3-4ft surf with a light-moderate South Easterly offshore wind. Clean swell, lots of lines. Good shaped fun surf, long walls with clean faces to the waves, holding up well in the offshore winds

Quite a solid 6ft surf with a fairly brisk West North Westerly onshore wind. It doesn't look that choppy and windy because the size, strength and definition of the swell is holding it's own against the light-moderate onshore wind. Clean faces, reasonably shaped lefts and rights, on some of the peaky sets as they come through. Several takers out

6-8ft surf with South Westerly onshore winds gusting up to gale force 8 at times. The overnight winds have totally shredded the surf, leaving most, if not all, scurrying to find a bit of shelter elsewhere. It's big and messy and will continue remain so for the rest of the day

4ft surf with a moderate-fresh West South Westerly onshore wind. The wind's slowly starting to increase, conditions are quite choppy and messy at the moment as the waves deteriorate and submit to the increasing strength of the wind. Looks like we're in for a windy day with the surf increasing together with the strengthening wind. Look for shelter elsewhere.
