Croyde Surf Report
May 31, 2015
2-3ft surf with a fresh North Westerly onshore wind. At the moment, small wind blown waves, but that could change on the pushing tide, with the possibility of bigger surf on the incoming tide, if the wind increases throughout the afternoon. For now it's surfable, though still onshore and messy, with very little hope of finding any real shelter on the main beaches in this wind direction

1-2ft surf with a light generally Westerly onshore wind. Surfable, rasonably clean small surf. Peaky little swell with a scattering of clean little sections, enough to get the gills wet

3-4ft surf with a gusty fresh-strong North Westerly onshore wind. Quite a lot of wind about at times, although there's quite a lot of North in the wind direction. The surf's choppy messy and onshore, but there could be the faintest bit of shelter around high on the Northen side of the bay this afternoon

2-3ft surf with a moderate North Westerly onshore wind. It's bigger than it's been for the last few days. At high tide, it's onshore, choppy and messy with a short, sharp, peaky windswell. Shortboardable, but could be frustating

1ft+ surf with a light onshore Westerly wind. 9-45am clean small lines threading their way into the bay. Conditions at this moment are still holding good approaching high tide, with some fun knee high longboardable waves coming through.

May 26, 2015
1ft+ surf with a light-moderate North Westerly onshore wind. Surf's a little bigger than recent, enough there for a longboard, even though it's a little choppy and sectiony, there's the odd wall that's managing to "stand the test of time". There seems to be quite a few people enjoying the opportunity to get in the water around high tide today, although the wind's still a little chilly.
