Sandy Hollow, Croyde

2-3ft surf with a light Westerly onshore wind. Lots of showers, very little wind, seems to be holding off. Quite peaky on sets and fun very surfable chest high waves coming through. Big spring tides, promising a little more size on the pushing tide, could be in for an enjoyable afternoon, if the wind holds off.

4ft surf with  light-moderate West North Westerly onshore wind. The wind's still quite light, enough strength and period in the swell to show through the influence of the onshore wind. Mid tide dropping with a little wind ruffle on the peak, but reasonably clean faces to the waves as they run towards the inside....no one out?

2ft surf around low tide this morning with a light West North Westerly onshore wind. Reasonably shaped small surfable fun surf. At the moment there's not enough strength in the wind to fan out the shape of the swell and shred any definition to the lines. Is the wind going to hold off for the rest of thr afternoon?...It may, or it may not.

Consistent 5ft sets coming through, moderate-fresh South South Easterly cross offshore wind. Right handers are generally clean, lefts are running with a little bit of southerly cross chop. Empty, good sized fun surf. If the wind holds from the same direction and as the tide fills the bay, it should clean up a little more

4-5ft surf on the mornings dropping tide. Little bit of wind wobble due to a light westerly onshore wind. Still a considerable amount of swell coming through, delivering some reasonably shaped fun waves. With plenty of warmth in the sun topped wth a little bit of swell, there's the possibility of a pleasant day ahead
