Sandy Hollow, Croyde

3-4ft surf with a light and variable, generally offshore wind. The day started with a crisp and clear frosty morning and 4ft+ sets. Although the surfs dropped a little throughout the morning, its still all there. Great fun, plenty of sets, and at the moment, not too busy, with lots of unridden waves coming through. Glorious spring day!

Solid 6ft+ surf on sets with a fairly strong ENE offshore wind around mid tide on the drop. Clean long wally lines entering the bay illuminated by a bit of winter sun. Strength of the wind could prove to be more of a problem when paddling into the waves as it approaches low tide later this afternoon

Solid 6-8ft surf with a light Northeasterly offshore wind. Solid A frame peaks coming in, empty and unriden at the close of play this evening. Any other time of the year it'd be rammed. A truely wonderful sight after all the gales, great to see it all play out in the last remaining light of the day.

4-5ft surf with a light South Easterly offshore wind first thing this morning. Great to walk down the home beach and see something that's surfable, for a change...it's been a long time! There's a little bit more South getting into the wind as the morning progresses so be quick

6ft+ surf with a light SSW cross onshore wind. Reasonably big surf a little disorganised. Quite peaky on the outside, some nice reforms on the inside with clean glassy faces, lefts and rights. Great if you're in the right spot, hard work if you're not
